Who we are?
CFBIS is a non-profit Chapter organization under the Florida Biomedical Society (FBS), covering the Central Florida region.
CFBIS was re-established in April 2017 to continue servicing anyone interested in the Biomed Field, medical equipment repairs and patient safety.
To increase positive patient outcomes by keeping our local community of HTM/Biomedical professionals informed with the lastest technology, resources, and education in order to provide for a better healthcare experience by means of reaching out to our local vendors and support groups to provide such information.
We aim to establish relationships with one another and create a community that supports one common goal - a safe environment for other medical professionals, patients and their families alike.
By becoming a member, you'll have the opportunity to network with many other technicians, students, vendors and other known professionals of the Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) field in the local area. Meetings are held quarterly every year and at different locations throughout Central Florida. Email us for more information.
CFBIS makes constant arrangements with Biomedical equipment manufacturers and vendors to sponsor meetings various times a year. This way, they have a conduit to present their devices and services and the attendees will learn about the new technologies available for patient care.
